The Africa Bitcoin Conference (ABC) 2025 is scheduled for December at the Caudan Arts Centre in Port Louis, Mauritius.  This annual event brings together thought leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts to discuss Bitcoin’s role in shaping Africa’s financial future.

Speaking Opportunities

ABC25 is currently accepting applications for speakers who can contribute fresh perspectives on Bitcoin’s impact in Africa. To ensure a diverse and enriching program, the conference has outlined specific guidelines for applicants.

Eligibility Criteria

New Voices: Individuals who have not spoken at all three previous ABCs are encouraged to apply

Returning Speakers : Those who have presented once or twice in the past may apply, provided their proposed topic offers a completely new angle from their previous presentations.

Content Focus

Relevance: Topics should pertain to the advancement of Bitcoin technology or its implications for the African continent.

Bitcoin-Centric: As a Bitcoin maximalist conference, discussions should exclusively focus on Bitcoin, excluding other cryptocurrencies.

Topic Diversity: To provide a broad spectrum of insights, no more than two speakers will be selected per subject area (e.g., Bitcoin Education). Priority will be given to projects that have not been showcased at previous ABC events.

Application Timeline

Opening Date: March 15, 2025

Closing Date: August 15, 2025

Evaluation Process: Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.

First Batch: Submissions between March and May will receive confirmation in June.

Second Batch: Submissions between June and August will receive confirmation in September.
