The Africa Bitcoin Conference Diaspora (ABCD) marks a bold and timely expansion of the Africa Bitcoin Conference’s mission to unlock financial freedom, human rights, and innovation across the African continent. On 15 August 2025, ABCD meets at Boston’s Royal Sonesta Hotel, alongside the Boston African Festival, uniting global Africans to shape the continent through freedom tech. Bitcoin already fuels change—resisting dictators, lowering remittance fees, expanding energy access, and empowering entrepreneurs. ABCD will show how it funds resistance, protects savings in collapsing economies, unlocks capital for the underbanked, and returns power to the people.
