Pauloes Berhe is the founder of BTechs, a New York nonprofit that builds self-sovereign digital and financial infrastructure and teaches security and privacy in Bitcoin alongside artificial intelligence and machine learning. Through BTechs he is building the Digital Currency Initiative (DCI) Global Research Map, a public platform charting the worldwide network of Bitcoin research. The map is a core part of the DCI Global Research Network, launched by MIT's Digital Currency Initiative. The work is done with a committee of researchers and professors spanning computer science, mathematics, environmental science, law, government banking, philosophy, and electrical engineering, whose interviews shape how the platform develops.
