Anaïse Kanimba is a global development strategist and human rights advocate working at the intersection of democracy, digital sovereignty, and strategic advocacy. With experience across Africa, Europe, and North America, she has led cross-border campaigns to challenge authoritarianism, defend political prisoners, and counter transnational repression. Anaïse has testified before the U.S. Congress, the UK Parliament, and the European Parliament, and her writing and advocacy have been featured in major outlets such as CNN, The Washington Post, and The Daily Beast.
She is the Director of the Africa Bitcoin Institute, a policy and research hub advancing dialogue on Bitcoin’s role in strengthening digital sovereignty, financial systems, and inclusive innovation across the African continent. A member of the World Liberty Congress, she continues to build global coalitions and shape policy conversations that promote freedom, justice, and human dignity.
