Eréndira Ramos

Equitable Global Futures LLC · Founder & CEO

Eréndira Ramos is an international human rights lawyer with fifteen years of experience across courts, multilateral institutions, and research centers, including advising the presidencies of Mexico's Supreme Court and its Federal Electoral Court, and research work at Germany's Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law and at UNAM's Institute for Legal Research.

As a Barer Fellow at the University of Washington School of Law, she began building what has become her signature doctrinal contribution: the Right to a Sustainable Economy, an emerging legal framework arguing that debt-financed monetary expansion constitutes a structural violation of intergenerational equity under existing international human rights law. The argument draws on time preference economics and monetary theory, including Saifedean Ammous's account of the fiat debt standard, to formalize through law what the Bitcoin community has argued through economics for over a decade.

She is the founder & CEO of Equitable Global Futures, a strategic advisory firm working with governments, corporations, and Web3 innovators on Sustainable Economic Governance, and the author of 4 books and 50+ peer-reviewed articles and chapters. She brings the tools of international law to a case Bitcoin already understands intuitively: that sound money is a precondition for the realization of human rights, not a financial preference
