Carol Souza
Co-Founder at Area Bitcoin
Carol Souza is the co-founder of Area Bitcoin, one of the largest Bitcoin education platforms in the world, with over 5,000 students, more than 600,000 followers across social media, and an active presence at major global conferences. Her work is transforming how Brazilians understand money, helping thousands move away from the fiat mindset and speculation to see Bitcoin as a tool for sovereignty, decentralization, and individual freedom. Recently, she launched Bitcoin 4 All, a free and open-source video course with 10 lessons available in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, expanding Bitcoin education to global audiences. Carol also helped to create Bitcoin Creative, a program for designers, and Bitcoin Coders, focused on developers, and serves as an adviser to Bitups, a grassroots initiative that supports local Bitcoin leaders through in-person meetups. With a clear, grounded, and didactic approach, Carol has become one of the most respected voices in the Latin American Bitcoin space.
