Nourou is passionate about new technologies in general, Bitcoin in particular. He is the founder of Yité Technologies, a start-up specializing in Bitcoin, IT solution development and strategic consulting. He is a bitcoin dev trained through Chaincode Labs seminaries and also the initiator/main organizer of Bitcoin Senegal, a movement that aims to democratize knowledge around finance and bitcoin, in Wolof. Nourou is also the creator of the Dakar Bitcoin Days, a bitocin-only forum Dakar (Senegal). Recently, he launched ‘Banxaas’, a bridge between Bitcoin, through the lightning network, and the XOF currency, through mobile money APIs.
