Charlene Fadirepo is a Bitcoin expert, international speaker, and advocate dedicated to empowering financial inclusion and freedom through Bitcoin innovation. As founder and CEO of Mango Digital Strategies, a Bitcoin advisory firm, Charlene supports mission-driven businesses and start-up organizations on their Bitcoin innovation journey. For several years, she has leveraged her expertise in finance, regulation, and strategy to help corporate clients integrate Bitcoin into their business models from treasury management, to financial products, to Bitcoin mining. She is also founder of Satoshi Sister Circle, a non-profit career and leadership network for African and African Diaspora women, bridging cutting-edge Bitcoin education, professional development with global empowerment.
An acclaimed author and executive educator, Charlene wrote the Amazon bestselling book The Bitcoin Leap: How Bitcoin Is Transforming Africa, an Africa-first exploration of Bitcoin’s transformative potential. She is also co-author of the policy book Bitcoin and the American Dream and author of the Bitcoin children’s book, Sade’s Satoshis. As creator of the Bitcoin In Africa Show Podcast, she is a sought-after international speaker who has presented at the Oslo Freedom Forum on Bitcoin’s role in financial freedom, served as a series speaker for the Human Rights Foundation, and served as a panelist or keynote speaker at Bitcoin Magazine Conferences, the Africa Bitcoin Conference, and the Bitcoin Policy Institute Conferences. Her work has been featured in Time Magazine, BBC Africa, Good Morning America, Yahoo Finance, and Coindesk. She has served as a Bitcoin guest lecturer at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, and at the U.S. Embassy in Australia . She holds an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
